Artist's Comments

A panoramic photo I stitched together from when I was traveling in Italy. Standing on the upper deck looking down onto the arena floor makes you realize how incredible the builders of the Roman empire were. The overall layout for large stadiums (especially football) has gone largely unchanged since the arenas of Ancient Rome. The way this building has endured, and the its design impact even today are inspiring.

Very good work, the huge imposing coliseum is here portrayed in its ageless glory. The photos are excellently stitched and the balance between sunlighted areas and shadow is really very well done.

this is a beautiful photo. I was thinking of studying abroad in Italy soon. This is helping me make the decision. :D

thanks. rome was amazing. i really wish i had been able to get out to the countryside a little more. I was only there for like a week, so I didn't get to see as much as I would've liked, but the train rides between cities were through the most beautiful countryside.
